Skeptics Compare Jesus Shroud to Bigfoot

Co-Founder of the Skeptic's Society, Pat Linse, was quoted as saying that the famous Shroud of Turin is a fake just like bigfoot. The Shroud has been a mystery since it's discovery. Some believe it is the shroud placed over the body of Jesus Christ after his death. But skeptics aren't buying that. Of course they don't believe bigfoot is real either.

Dozens of scientists over the years and, perhaps more than ever, today, have tried to figure out how the image was created, and most importantly to establish whether the Shroud of Turin is indeed what its faithful believe it to be.

But not everyone accepts that researching the Shroud of Turin, at this point, is even a worthwhile endeavor.

“It’s like Big Foot,” says Pat Linse, who co-founded The Skeptics Society, a 22-year old nonprofit group dedicated to debunking what its members see as pseudoscience. “Every time someone comes up with a new theory or whatnot, it’s gets a big flurry of attention.”

    3. Great 6:11, you were alive as an adult over 2000 years ago, so you know this 'fact'.

      What a joke.

Another atheist self-attributing the qualities of a god.

That is the height of hypocrisy in a neat and tidy textbook nutshell.

You would have to be a god to know Jesus didn't exist.

Oh, so you the atheist are a god, but there can't be any God or other gods, only you; but hey wait, you being an atheist would mean you deny the existence then of yourself, since you consider yourself a god.

Wow what a dilemma you've got.

See you, wouldn't want to be you.

    4. Disbelieving in Jesus makes one an atheist? What an idiot. Again, here's another tool that need to actual do some research into past mythologies that preceded Jesus. The Gnostics didn't believe in a literal Christ. It's a real shame western society has been so greatly brainwashed and duped for hundreds and hundreds of years.

  5. If you believe in a race of giant North American apes with a legitimate breeding population... Surely you could find the time to believe that Christ walked the earth and did His fathers work. I mean the Apostle John did a better job at proving the Son of God was here than any of the Footers ever accomplished with any of the evidence that they went public with.

    2. Maybe you need to research the mythologies that preceded Jesus that are identical. That will start the cogs spinning in your brain with some critical thinking.
