Finding Bigfoot in South Carolina

Finding Bigfoot continues their season, this time making a stop in South Carolina to investigate some sightings around Bamberg County.

Last week, the group of four “Finding Bigfoot” cast members, which includes Moneymaker, researchers James “Bobo” Fay and Cliff Barackman, and skeptical scientist Ranae Holland, and film crew, met Folk at Hardee’s in the heart of Bamberg before heading to an undisclosed location along the Edisto River.

Folk said he told “Finding Bigfoot” cast and crew members about an encounter he had in Bamberg Count in 1986, but details about it are top secret until the show airs.

He noted, however, that his most recent potentially Bigfoot-related experience was in July 2014 along the Edisto River in Bamberg County.

“I was fishing down on the Edisto when I heard a wood-knock answered with another wood-knock,” Folk said.

Folk said the “wood-knock” sounds are like a baseball striking the side of a tree.

Was it Bigfoot?

“It could be or it couldn’t be,” Folk said, adding that he kept on fishing.

      They do have a very good point DS, I bet I can go in to ANY forested area and find numerous fallen trees/branches like you have shown that was attributed by good old mother nature...........

      Which pictures do you question???? Yes, you probably will find the same BF markers in your woods if you look.

Rumors abound on whether or not Finding Bigfoot will continue, but hopeful news is on the horizon. Snake Oil Productions, the production company responsible for Finding Bigfoot, is seeking a permit for filming in the Monterey, Virginia area. Monterey lies between the Monongahela and George Washington National Forests. Definitely a good place to look for bigfoot. We can only speculate if this means Finding Bigfoot has been signed on for additional seasons, or if perhaps a new bigfoot show is in the works. Bigfoot injured by a forest fire was taken away and hidden by the authorities, not even Robert Lindsay can top this story

This story was circulating the internet way back in 2004, or maybe as far back as 1999. Back when everybody was on 56k dial-up modems and a "Facebook" was just a regular book with directory listing of names and headshots. This story was so disturbing and so shocking that nobody believed it at the time. It was the Robert Lindsay " Bear Hunter: Two Bigfoots Shot and DNA Samples Taken " story of the time. And like Robert's Bear Hunter story , this witness didn't have a name. The only thing known about the witness is that this person was a government employee, anonymous of course. The author of the story was a science teacher named Thom Powell who believe it really happened and that the whole story was an elaborate cover-up. Powell said the anonymous government employee alerted the BFRO about a 7.5 feet long/tall burn victim with "multiple burns on hands, feet, legs and body; some 2nd and 3rd degree burns".
